Tour

One of the best ways to rediscover The Hope Institute for Children and Families is to visit the Hope school and residential campus, community group homes, and community clinics. People who have toured campus, attended events or just visited and had a chance to get to know Hope students are unanimously impressed. Located on 25 wooded acres near Lake Springfield, The Hope campus is the perfect backdrop for more than 110 students who learn and live at Hope everyday.

Hope also has ten (10) group homes in the greater Springfield community. Hope believes in offering children the least restrictive learning environment possible and group homes are one way Hope accomplishes this goal.
New to The Hope Institute team and located near downtown Springfield, The Autism Program is a state funded initiative whose goals include providing evidence-based services and creating statewide systems changes for children affected with autism spectrum disorder.

Finally, none of these great facilities would be worth anything unless they were filled with children and a great staff. Currently, The Hope School serves more than 110 students with multiple disabilities and employs over 470 specially trained staff in the Springfield, Illinois area.

In addition to living and learning at Hope, children and staff participate in a variety of events for fun and fundraising. These events help The Hope Institute bring joy into the lives of children and help them prepare for their future.
