The Hope Institute employs more than 470 year-round staff to provide 24-hour care and support services for Hope children, and is the 9th largest employer in Sangamon County. In order to provide the very best care and support for each child, The Hope Institute employs multi-disciplinary teams including the following types of professionals:

- vocational/job coaches
- occupational therapists
- physical and speech therapists
- behavior specialists
- clinical psychologists
